The tickets were 2p each or a book of nine for 15p The raffle prizes included 200 pounds worth of furniture (buy it yourself) Trip to Paris for 2 and 40 pounds spending money Your St. Patrick's Day 'Rig-out' to the value of 50 pounds Your car washed weekly for six months Rocking chair and ten pounds Driving lesson in a car Large ham and 10 pounds Large box of chocolates and 10 pounds Large Ham and 10 pounds Cheque for 12 pounds. 18 of the best ticket sellers would receive a large tin of biscuits. We could only dream!! "
