"My late father, Dan Griffin, bought a pub in Schull, West Cork in 1956 and this had been hanging on the wall for the whole of the previous owners ownership. It holds a large gathering of people of our history, going from Patrick Sarsfield to Daniel O'Connell and Gerald Griffin. It was always a great talking point in our bar, with one man wondering how they managed to get them all together at the one time!! "
