Carrolls Cigarette advertisement

"This is one of the earliest Carrolls cigarette advertisements . Nobody , including some of the oldest employees could shed much light on the Emerald Gem brand that was advertised. There is speculation that Carrolls abandoned launching this brand and instead launched Major as the brand. It is unlikely that many of these posters survived but I found this in my Grandfathers pub in Ballybay in County Monaghan. Any additional historical information on this piece would be very welcome. "
