Crolly Dolls

"These are all Crolly Dolls made in the factory in Crolly, Co. Donegal & were much loved by me. From the left: i won her in a raffle at the Engineers Association Christmas Party & I have a photo ( age 9) being presented with the doll who is still wearing her original dress & jacket. The black one was my all time favourite doll & was also much loved & played with by my own 4 daughters during the 70's & the 80's - they christened her Kizzi. The biggest one I received at Christmas 66 years ago, she also wears her original dress. The smallest, on the right, is a prototype from the factory when Crolly were experimenting with the 'new' vinyl - her mounded hair style goes back into a ponytail & there is a small hole where a ribbon could be threaded through to make a bow. Her dress is not original as she was naked when I got her."
