Makeup & Powder Set.

"My Mother’s Cousin was married to a British Army Officer, A Major Pulling. They spent many years in India & returned to London. Pulling was killed in World War 1. His wife Mary moved to Margate & opened a Boarding House there. Many of her guests were actors in the Fit ups & some later became famous on TV & the London Stage. The makeup set travelled with her to India and back to London, Margate & later to Buttevant Co.Cork where she lived in retirement with my aunt."
