My grandmother's letter case with her initials kc

"Catherine Cleere was a governess to French family in Tourcoing during First World War and she had no communication for four years. She kept a small diary and letters in this green leather pouch bag. The bag arrived home with her in 1918 along with her French dictionary Irish lace French dinner set, clock, a French prayer book, and most important her diary on the green bag. The family were famous merchants of wool and silk. I have made a study of her stay and visited the place a few years ago. "
