The three sister's from Clough Lapis governess's

"The sisters my grand aunts from Donaghmore Co.Laois were Governess's during The First World War 1914-1918 to French rich families. I love their story and place they worked having compiled a little history about them. I also took great pleasure in visiting the mansions they worked in and finding all the history about Paris and Tourcoing. Notice the wonderful elegant Irish lace collars on the sisters. I have travelled in 2013 and again in 2014 for my research. The sisters sent post cards to Ireland which I have I also have photos and letters from the French families Rasson and Masurel . Margaret and Catherine my grandmother are buried in the tiny rural charming village of Clough Ballcolla Co.Laois Ireland with my mother also named Catherine who died in the winter of the bad snow January 10th 2010."
