First Day Issued Stamps - The Centenary of the foundation of the GAA
"Posted in the main post office in Mullingar and bought by my aunt. Envelope & card. Found after she passed. I remembered the local celebration; planted a tree because she was the captain of the under-12 team. A huge occasion for the town. Mass first and then different games. Highlight was the over 50 team, father and uncle both played on the team on the day. Cork, Tipperary, Dublin & Kerry featured on the envelope and the stamp."
