Robin traditional hot water starch

"Starch was used for a 'crisp finish' on shirts, linen, table cloths, uniforms etc. It kept collars cleaner for longer. I bought this packet in the 1990's. With great intentions of using it I reverted to the handier spray can version for important items. I'm not sure when it began to be used. "
