Ryanair Doll

"I remember when Knock airport was being built, we would drive down the runway on a Sunday afternoon. Shortly after it opened, we got the day off school when Monsignor Horan died. We often went to look at the planes. There was great excitement about the whole thing! I went on a Ryanair flight from Knock to London Luton in about 1988, we went to a funeral in London. I had an Aer Lingus doll already and wanted to compare them! The Ryanair doll is a nice reminder of my first flight with Ryanair and what both Ryanair and Knock airport did for the West of Ireland."
