Steel Butter Scales

"This butter scale was purchased by Jocelyn Gore-Booth (1897) of Lissadell House for the small co-op he founded at Ballinfull Co Sligo. The co-op was part of the Lissadell estate and was for the benefit of the Maugherrow farmers. It is made of cast iron including steel wheels. This object would be of interest under early farm equipment or as a history item for the co-op society. "
