"The Slide rule was the standard calculator for when I was an apprentice. They have been around in various forms starting with the Abacus which was used hundreds of years ago and in some places still in use today. When I was a pupil in the early fifties the Abacus was shown and taught to us and I found it very simple and useful. Now I use Microsoft and iPad. What's next?"
