"The A which the orchestra tunes to is now from an oboe but this belonged to the RTÉ symphony orchestra and the manager brought this machine to the front of the stage in the st Francis Xavier hall and it played the note. My uncle Frank Young, who was assistant manager of the orchestra rescued it from a skip. It still works!"
