Sylvia , my Crolly Doll

"Sylvia, my beautiful Crolly Doll, made in Donegal was a gift my mother & father bought for me when I was 7 years old, making her 55 years old now ! Her stamp of authenticity is clearly to be seen on the back of her neck !This gift was, and still is extremely special to me, for at that time receiving gifts was a rare occurrence ! Sylvia is a member of our family, she is treated with great respect by my own six children and equally so now by my seven grandchildren, who play with her when they visit. I have treasured Sylvia all my life and she is be found in our living room at all times. Sylvia has had a few minor "accidents" during her life, she has lost her index finger on her right hand and her left eye has turned slightly inward. Sylvia is a little treasure!"
