The oldest thing I own!

"This is a small metal 'suitcase' that was given to me by my Grandmother when I was about 3 years old. It measures 7.5cm by 5.5cm, and the 'handle' acts as the closing clasp. I don't know where it's from, I've always suspected it was purchased in Hector Grey's in Liffey Street. As a small boy, I was fascinated by the enamel 'travel' stickers from exotic places such as Monte Carlo, Zurich Budapest and New York! And on occasion, it acted as coin holder or somewhere to keep my paper caps dry!"
