US Railweay Employee Disability Policy

"This insurance policy was taken out with the Eastern Casualty Insurance Company in 1919 by my grandfather, James Patrick Brennan (1886-1968) on his return from military service with the US Army. He was employed as a tram driver with the Boston Elevated Railway (Service Number 1445). As can be seen from the particulars that he gave, he was lucky enough to have survived the Spanish Flu (Grippe) pandemic that swept the world after World War 1."
