2 Printed Plays from 1918 and 1922

"I live in Crannfield, Randalstown Co. Antrim. The Green Shed next to the old church was being demolished and locals were asked if they would like to take anything from the building beforehand. I took these two plays, printed by the Talbot Press Limited, Dublin and Cork. Turncoats by Lynn Doyle was produced by the Ulster Theatre at The Playhouse, Liverpool, 5th September 1922. The Lilac Ribbon, by Lynn Doyle, was produced by The Ulster Theatre in the Grand Opera House, Belfast,17th June 1918. I think that these plays were performed in Crannfield, perhaps as entertainment for local fisherman who came in from around the lough and local area. At the back of the play The Turncoats are a list of local people from the community who had taken part in the production."
