Easter Egg Doll

"This little doll is actually an easter egg which was sent by an Irish Jesuit Priest based in Melbourne Australia to his niece, my mother, in 1936 when she was about 6. It was in my Grandmother's china cabinet and I claimed it when I was very small. It stayed all those years in that cabinet until after flooding in Bray, it passed to my Mother's china cabinet, where again it stayed until last year when it eventually was handed over to me. The body of the doll is chocolate. "
