Cookbook

"Treats to Tempt was the title of Loreto Convent Fermoy's cookbook published as a fundraiser in the mid 1980s. The celebrities who contributed recipes were the local parish priest and RTE's Gay Byrne as well as politicans including Taoiseach Garret Fitzgerald. The book included information on how to use the then new and very expensive microwave ovens. Despite the ongoing sellotape repairs and the loss of its cover, the cookbook is still in regular use in our kitchen 30 years after publication."
