My nan's butter pats

"These were my nans butter pats. She used them since she was 10 years old (1930). They were her mother's before her. Sadly her mother died when she was 9 and my nan had to take over all the jobs a mother would do in that time. She was the oldest so her 5 younger brothers and sisters and her father relied on her to help out as much as she could. Sadly she died at the age of 97 in March of this year. She made sure that she told us all her stories of growing up and the work she did. "
