Great Granny's Wedding shoes

"These wedding shoes have been in my family for years. My grandmother who was born in 1913 gave me these and asked me to look after them as she thought they were passed down from her grandmother. I have tried to date them and i estimate they were created around the turn of the century but possibly earlier. There is also a set of wedding stockings. I recently went to the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition of Wedding dresses and I saw some shoes which were not unalike these. I would love to know more about them and would be delighted to exhibit them."
