"I found this old election pamplet a few years back when clearing out my fathers house after he died. He was involved in canvassing for Fianna Fáil in the 50's and was a Fianna Fáil voter right up until his death. I suppose this is a little piece of his story, and the story of politics in Ireland over the years. I find it interesting reading the manifesto as it was the election straight after Ireland's first coalition government. "
