Flying helmet from World War

"When I was younger, I was given a present off this flying helmet from a friend I had at the time. For the last 30 odd years have dragged from flat to flat, apartment to house and finally to Spain where I live now. All I know is the person who gave it to me said he thought it was his grandfather's but it couldn't be a hundred percent sure"
