"Relic from my Great Grandfather Mick Pierce's Military Career. He was Captain of the Ballyheigue Company in Co. Kerry during the Irish War of Independence. He was given the Rosary Beads, a very old pair, made from a type cattle horn by Brian McMahon's Aunt (Ballyheigue) to keep him safe."
