My Father's Old IRA Gun Holster
"My father, Joe Byrne, joined the old IRA in 1913, C Company, 4th Battalion, South Dublin Union. Commandant Eamonn Ceannt. He was on hunger strike in came out of Frangoch prison in 1924. He served as guard of honour at the funerals of Thomas Ashe and Terence Mac Sweeney."
