Postcards from the Past
"One postcard is dated 1922 and depicts an image of Countess Constance Markievicz. It was in my Father's collection of 'old' things. I know that the woman the postcard is addressed to (Kathleen Carroll), was the sister of the woman that raised my Father. Also, that she was involved in Cumann na mBan activity in the early 1920's. I have always wondered if it was actually sent by Countess Markievicz herself, and I suppose, why? "
