Hoover Steam Iron

"This electric Hoover Steam Iron with its accompanying manual is a reminder of Tuesdays in the 1970s when I was growing up. Monday was wash day and Tuesday afternoon ironing. Mum bought the iron after she married in 1954 & it lasted over 25 years; in fact probably still works! They don’t make them to last like that anymore!"
