"This travelling pocket barometer has a silver dial that predicted the weather for my great grandfather before he went out on the farm working. It predicted if it was going to rain, change or be fair for the day, it also has a mercury dial to predict the temperature of the day, there was no radio or television in those days to give a weather forecast."
