Solid Wood Milking Stool

" I’m 48 and it has always been in the house. This where the stool would have come from, my grandparent’s farm in Ballygrennan, Limerick, where my parents lived for the first four years. Originally, the stool might have had a white colour. My older sister remembered my dad staining the stool and applied vanish. It sat in our house for all our lives. This was fought over all throughout my childhood. Lots of good memories. It’s unusual to see the markings on a milking stool as they are usually so plain. "
