"The programme booklet is a souvenir of the “All Ireland Football Championship Final” held at the Polo Grounds, New York, September 1947, on the centenary of the 1847 Famine. This event was a unique broadcast and the only “All Ireland” to be held in the United States. The Polo Grounds was later turned into a block of apartments."
