Shell Calendar 1970 by Gerrit van Gelderen

"My father Gerrit van Gelderen was synonomous with wildlife, conservation and filmmaking in Ireland. Apart from making by "Amuigh Faoin Speir" with Eamon de Buítlear and his own series "To the Waters and the Wild", he created a lot of art including this 1970 calendar of Irish mammals for Shell. I think it is important as it showed the natural beauty of the country to am enthusiastic nation."
