"Pony and Trap" transport days

"As I am now aged 88 the enclosed photo is one that gives me my greatest nostalgic memory. It was taken c1934 in my home place in Co Waterford and in fact shows me in the centre awaiting to be taken to school about one mile away. Cars of course were very scarce in those days so my family relied on the Pony and Trap to get the shops, Mass etc. It is a wondrous memory indeed."
