"Roger Casement sent this from Pentonville. Fr McCarroll that ministered to him in the weeks prior to the execution hand-delivered it to my great-grandmother Mary McCarry. It was on her farm in Murlough, County Antrim, that Casement asked to be buried. The daffodils they planted about the yard there still come up every year."
