Granny O'Mahony's Autograph Book
"This book is a paragon of what an Autograph Book should be. It is replete with written entries, a painting and several drawings. Entries are in English and Irish. The years 1907 to 1910 are covered. Several famous poets are quoted. A postcard from 1909 indicates that Granny was then resident in London. Granny met her husband to be, here, through the Gaelic League. This book is my cherished object and family heirloom. I'm privileged to have it and honoured to be called after my Grandmother, Kitty O' Mahony. This book reflects the culture, politics and history of the time."
