Commissioning of L.É.James Joyce in 2015.

"I was honoured, as were my extended family to be invited to the commissioning of the Irish Naval Ship at Dún Laoghaire, named after my granduncle. The Long Éireannach James Joyce was christened, on that 1st of September 2015 by one of my sisters, Carol Joyce and a presentation of a copy of Ulysses was made to Lieutenant Commander Brian Dempsey by my older brother, Bob."
