First Irish Cookbook

"In the early 1940's the lecturers of Colaiste Mhuire, Cathal Brugha Street decided to compile Irelands first cookery book. "All in the Cooking" was born and published in 1946. It was widely used in Secondary schools and became a bible for many people. The book was so popular that it was reprinted in 2015. Why it is special to me is that my mother Ena Kiely (nee McCormack who is now 93 years old and still cooking) was one of the students who tested the recipes. She has handed it down to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren."
