Pressure Cooker
"This Hawkins Pressure Cooker was used continuously by my parents since the late 1950s. My father, a naturally scientifically minded individual was always keen to try new products, some of which he encountered while working as a wireless operator in the Merchant Navy in World War 2. It was used daily by mother to cook the potatoes and annually to make the Christmas pudding. My father, a modern man for his time, was aversed to cooking a full dinner in the pressure cooker. It has been in my possession for 20 years and continues to be used regularly. "
