Students Moist Water Colour Box

"This paint box belonged to my Maternal Great Aunt who was born in Kilkenny in 1888 and lived for 107 years. She became a Mercy Nun and spent most of her long life in the Mercy convent in Borris in Ossory Co Laoise where she taught for a number of years. She was musical (piano) and artistic and painted little cards and pictures for us as children. She gave the box to my late Mother when she no longer used it and it has been in my possession for some years Known to the extended family as Sister Patrick she was must loved as a very interesting person. As children we often visited her and attended her 100 birthday celebrations with our own children"
