Family photo

"The Lane family lived in CahirLane, Abbeyfeale Co Limerick. This is a formal photo and note how everyone was dressed in their "Sunday Best" clothes. The photo was taken in front of the homestead in Cahir. It was a avery special occasion when the whole family i.e.:-parents and grown up children gathered to pose for a photo together in September 1925. The parents are in the front row on the left:- Patrick and Mary Lane (nee Healy). The other family members in the are front row:- John (My Grandfather) Paddy, Hannie, Bill and Denis. Back row :- Dan, Mike, Con, Nora, Timmie, Jim and Tom (Tom was ordained a priest and worked in the U.S.A.) The family had 12 children who survived."
