The Grove Disco, Clontarf

"This is a Membership Card for the Grove Social Club - the best Disco in Dublin's Northside for 30 years, loved by so many teenagers, with the great DJ Cecil at the turntable. From 1967 to 1975 it was located on Mount Prospect Avenue, but had to relocate to the hall in St. Paul's College after a fire completely destroyed the building. Most people went to the Disco nearly every Saturday night and danced the night away. It is still fondly loved as evidenced by the 50 Year Reunion nights held last August."
