1920s Irish freedom fighters belt buckle
"Here is a belt buckle that I found in my great grandfathers cow shed! Nailed to the wall with pride! It took me 30 mins to get it off with a brick and crow bar! The landmark is abandoned 30 plus years now. My grandfather used to hide the Irish freedom fighters in his attack from the British crown forces on his farm, in Ballysax the Curragh! I also learned that he used to hide weapons in his well on the farm and also in the attic. He is in the Irish history books for this and this belt buckle was hung up as a proud reminder of his heritage. It dates from 1920-1930s."
