Telegram from police to Military for my GG Grandfather during 1916 rising

"When I started researching my family history in 2009, I was informed that my late Grandmother had a few items of interest, so when I gathered the bits and pieces together I soon realised that my grandmother had been researching the family history for quite some time without the use of a computer. This meant that it was all recorded on random bits of paper. When I finally pieced the info together and filled in the blanks and computerised the details, I noticed that she kept everything from photos to obituarys from the papers, etc. This is when I came across a telegraph of her father-in-law's dated-4th May 1916. I initially did not take notice of the date but soon realized what it was and it was the pass he needed to cross Dublin to get to work as there was a martial law enforcement at this time in Dublin and permission was needed from the police to travel at certain times. This is the same day that Joseph Plunkett, Edward Daly, Michael O’Hanrahan and William Pearse were executed by firing squad at Kilmainham Gaol on 4 May 1916, for their participation in The Rising. Going by footage and photographs on the internet, he would have witnessed the the pure devastation in Dublin during and after the rising if he chose to travel at this time "
