Student Residence Account
"Students in Trinity College, Dublin University, were able to live on campus in the 1930s. This is a college account for a student for the 3 months of July- September, which includes the provision of a servant to make the beds and light and clean out the fires. Term rent was £3 17s. 6d. and the College fees were ten guineas. The incidentals were probably lunches every day for the sum of £6 6s.9d. In this account no sweeping of chimneys took place, and there were no punishment charges. "
