A Catechism of Doctrine

"Small green book entitled A Catechism of Doctrine, approved by The Archbishops and Bishops of Ireland. The book was first published in 1951 but this edition was published in 1983 with a number of amendments. The book was a way for the Catholic Church to brainwash the younger generation. I was in national school from 1956 to 1965 and would have used this throughout this period, between the period of 12pm and 12:30pm, in National School Curragh Camp, in Kildare. I felt that this piece of history would be forgotten, although it was a huge part of Irish school life for many years. "
