Irish international Grand Prix 1931 Phoenix Park Dublin. Programme
"Programme from the 3rd running of the International Grand Prix Motor Races at Phoenix Park. In 1929 Grand Prix Motor Races were first held in Dublin and Monaco. All the top GP teams attended with a line up of international drivers and cars. Sadly Fianna Fail were elected to power in 1932 and Dev's Party pulled support for the '32 event. From then on it continued almost annually with the support of local drivers more as a clubman's event at the Phoenix Park. Monaco on the other hand continued and made their event famous... Programme came from my late father-in-law who attended all the GP's with the local Castleknock Boy Scouts as part of the event."
