"Donegal Spinningwheel, (Marie) The wheel has been on Inishowen Bo Finne, off the Donegal coast for a long number of years. Once a very common sight and a source of employment in many households. The wheel was used for spinning Wool or Flax and supplied the Aran knitting and Donegal Tweed home industry. I am presently restoring this wheel, to spin again."
