"My Grandfather Captain Michael Good was from Fairhill in Cork City, originally. He was a sea captain and went through both world wars. He worked for the British Merchant Navy – P&O and British tanker company – where he travelled to Persia, India and Italy. This was Calibrated in December 1925 It was used for navigation you would line out the stars and horizon."
