"My great-great Grandfather was a solicitor in Cork and was given this medallion from the Wesleyan church before leaving for Middlesex. He also created the patent for the first cooking stove – Richard Burton & sons LTD. The Perrot family were benefactors and supporters of the Crawford School of Art and are also connected with the naming of Perrott Avenue which is situated near to UCC. "
