" This was the first record I bought when I was 14 in 1963. I heard this song on the radio in 1963 and I loved it so much because it was completely new and exciting sound and different to anything I had heard before. I didn't know the 'band' but I soon found out. I saved up the 5 and sixpence to buy it. It has a sticker Mc Carthy (my maiden name) because I lent it to my friends and took it to the record hops in the village hall in Monkstown Co Cork where I lived. "
