"This was used by my late father in law, Patrick Knox. Born in 1911, Paddy was orphaned, when both his parents died of the ‘black ‘flu in 1911. He was sent to Artane, where he trained as a tailor, (he also played in the Artane boy’s band). He returned to his native Kilmacow, built a little tailor’s shop and worked there, using this scissors, for over 50 years."
